About Us

Krakow.net.pl is an independent local news portal covering Kraków and the Lesser Poland region.

We created Krakow.net.pl because local matters truly count. We cover the city and the region from a resident’s perspective — the people who live and work here and want to understand what is happening around them.

What we do

We keep track of official and local sources — including announcements from Kraków City Hall and its districts, MPK (the city’s public transport operator), the Kraków City Roads Authority and the municipal offices across Lesser Poland — and turn them into clear, concrete articles. We write about what matters most to residents: transport and traffic disruptions, investments, culture and events, education, and the affairs of individual districts and municipalities.

Our principles

• Reliability and substance — we inform clearly and without clickbait.
• Transparency of sources — we state where our information comes from.
• Respect for copyright — we do not copy other people’s photos; we use our own graphic materials.
