The fifth edition of the concert ‘Muzyczne Zaduszki Wojtka Klicha’ at Fort Borek. The evening is built around well-known songs that recall artists who are no longer with us, whose music continues to accompany listeners. The concert has a regular place in the event calendar of Fort Borek.
The programme features pieces by legends of the Polish and international music scene, spanning different generations and styles. Wojtek Klich gives familiar compositions a rock and blues sound while preserving their authenticity and emotional character. The announced songs include, among others:
- ‘Wehikuł czasu’ by Ryszard Riedel and Dżem
- ‘Bez Ciebie umieram’ by Maanam
- ‘Kto ma tyle wdzięku co ja’ by Danuta Rinn
- iconic hits by international artists, including Tiny Turner and Jimi Hendrix
On stage will be:
- Magdalena ‘Ruda’ Stalmach – vocals
- Katarzyna Kalita – vocals
- Oskar Hudyka – vocals
- Arek Boryczka – guitar
- Mariusz ‘Geting’ Tracz – harmonica, small flutes
- Jakub Wach – percussion
- guest appearances: Wojciech Bienia – guitar, Mariusz Karol Gałczyński – guitar
Wojtek Klich, a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, began his career with the band Ziyo, and later formed his own project, ‘Bardzo Orkiestra’. He has collaborated with Marek Piekarczyk, Grzegorz Markowski and Janusz Panasewicz, among others. He is the author of the lyrics and music for ‘Czy ten pan i pani’, written for Ania Wyszkoni, and ‘Lipiec ze mną’, sung by Małgorzata Ostrowska.
