A series of meetings about beautiful and strong people, full of exceptional passions and extraordinary talents. The organisers want to draw attention to their ambitions and achievements, rather than to the disability that accompanies them.
The initiator of the series is Monika Meleń, a reporter and documentary filmmaker, author of several hundred social-issue reports broadcast in national and international media. Since 2003 she has worked with TVP, and previously with radio stations. She is the author of the documentaries ‘Film dla Stasia’, ‘Jeden dzień dłużej’ and ‘Kobieta Skała’, and of reports on Kraków: ‘Melodia znana jak pacierz’, ‘Ognista dusza’, ‘Mój sąsiad smok’ and ‘Dźwięk mojego życia’. In 2017 she received a lifetime achievement award at the Festiwal Sztuki Faktu in Toruń.
The programme of the event includes:
- a concert by Marek Piekarczyk,
- the finale of the campaign ‘79 dni dobra dla Ingi’,
- a meeting with Łukasz Nowak,
- an exhibition of works by Stanisław Kmiecik and Jagoda Litner,
- a mini recital by Julia Polaczek.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 18 November 2026, at 18:00, in Room 203 of the Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury. Tickets cost 5 zł. Information and reservations are available at the Biuro Organizacji Widowni, by phone on 12 644 02 66, extension 55, or by email at rezerwacja@nck.krakow.pl.
